The primary objective of the Fondazione Distretto Green & High Tech
Monza Brianza is to further develop the unique set of innovative companies,
entrepreneurial spirit, advanced technical know and competencies in the fields
of ICT (microelectronics, electronics, TLC) and Renewable Energies that is
historically present in the north-Milan territory.
To this end, the identified path is to aggregate a cluster of companies operating
in the aforementioned industries, to support and propel their development and to
contribute to establish a healthy environment for such enterprises to grow.
As of today, more than 70 member companies (including major corporations and
small and medium enterprises) participate to the thick networking organized and
managed by the Distretto, with the result of easier business contacts between
the member companies and of several joint R&D projects, thus allowing the
diffusion of best practices between member companies and helping to maintain a
balanced level of employment in the territory.
The Cluster offers also a complete set of services focused on the industrial
development of its member companies, building the bridge between the
Local Government Institutions and the companies, helping start-ups to get off
the ground, designing education paths for the employees together with the
companies and promoting the aggregation of companies to join soft-financed
projects dedicated to advanced R&D and innovation.
